No doubt you have heard about the Zhentarim band who scour Narfell, including The North, in search of your allies, Bennek Sepret and his men, whom our Far Scouts inform us were largely ex-Zhentarim agents. King Thalaman of Peltarch believes it is within everyone’s interest to be certain their business is concluded, to expel them from the land, and in doing these, to present a strong, unified front to deter future entanglements. As the presence of Bennek’s men were extended by your welcoming, the King invites your council occupying Moonreach to elect a delegate and a military mind to speak him, personally, in Peltarch.

I write on instruction of King Caleb, His Highness the Survivor of Willowhaven, Friend of the Old Families, True Fisher King, & Uniter of the North.
We have taken note of your request, and of the Zhentarim soldiers who scour the land in search of your cousin.
King Caleb has agreed to visit and confer with Thalaman Fisher personally, with escort, on condition that Thalaman Fisher, General Leonard Gom, and Captain Reyhenna Jorino, as well as the Golden Geese Guild, each publicly promise King Caleb and his escort due guest rights by law of your invitation.
We expect confirmation and public announcement of such guest rights -- of all due care, protection, and hospitality, and full freedom to leave unimpeded and un-followed. Once we receive it, you may in turn expect our arrival in short order.
