“Oh, Jaxon? Yeah, I know who you mean.”
The Moonreacher paused, considering the question.“Finding him is easier to answer than what he's like. Start by looking for the very tall one that seems determined not to take up space.”
“He’s hard to miss, really. He’s about as tall as a person can reasonably be without wondering if it's a giant, with shoulders so broad he could carry a fallen tree and still have both hands free. Shame about the scars, really. Must've been a criminal in a past life, whipped as he's been. Course, it makes him look fierce, I suppose. The odd bit is that he doesn’t move like someone who knows he’s intimidating. He’s careful with people.”
“His hair is a sort of mouse-brown—not the kind that gets you songs written about you, but it suits him. Usually a little untidy, he wears it in a bun to keep it out of his eyes. Doesn't smile much, neither. When he does, he looks like he's worried he needs permission. His eyes are hazel, and they’re probably the first thing you notice once you get past the fact that he’s enormous.
Not because they’re unusual. Because he actually pays attention, and you can feel it.
He's young, though. I'm not sure he has any business being an adventurer yet. Still, he's one of them Locus Operandi, sure enough."“His clothes are a bit odd. Exotic, even. Sure don't seem to be Moonreach make. You'd think he's a wizard, all robed as he is, but I've never heard of him casting a spell.”
“If you’re looking for him in a crowd, don’t just look for the tallest person there. Look for the tall person who is standing slightly apart, listening instead of speaking.”
