  • Juniper's cousin and aunt continued to camp in the old Romani Psss, thee portal Juniper had built between her home and the pass practically making the pass like a backyard. It was through her reclusive aunt and cousin that she first heard news of the Zhentish invasion. Even though she was now a Captain in command of her own company of Knights in Silver, Juniper could not let this superbly disturbing news pass without going to investigate for herself.

    Long story short, Juniper quickly reconnected with a few her old friends, and quickly learned through personal experience of the disquieting levels of the Zhents' true strength in Narfell and the dire straights it left her old home and friends in. Her mind was immediately made up to help in whatever way she could.

    After a debriefing with her friends meeting a Peltarchian genral and Peltarch's king, she collected a couple of letters requesting aid, and took them back to Silverymoon. To go along with the official missives requesting any and all aid that Silverymoon and the Lords' Alliance might be able to render, military or humanitarian, Juniper added personal correspondence of her own to help sell her liege and Silverymoon's allies on why they should aid such a far flung city like Peltarch against the Zhentarim.

    To the High Mage of Silverymoon and Advisers of the Lords' Alliance,

    While I have my own personal reasons to wish our intervention in the Zhentish Invasion of Narfell. I believe we should as much as we can for the simple fact that Peltarch alone holds more than enough riches and artifacts that we should not risk being allowed to flow back west to the Western Heartlands and Northern Sword Coast. Stopping the Zhentarim in Narfell will greatly weaken them here. We cannot afford this opportunity to strike against the Black Network.

    At the very least, I wish to bring my own company of Knights in Silver out through the portal there through my own home. Any assistance in addition to that we can afford would go a long way to thwarting the Zhentish threat to us all.

    One copy of this letter was delivered along with each of the official missives requesting aid to each the High Mage of Silverymoon and the local Silverymoon advisers to the Lords' Alliance.

    The peril of one's home is a terrible thing to face.

    We will need to speak further and soon, about House Fisher, and their involvement in recent arcane developments that have affected Silverymoon.

    That can wait until after the immediate Zhentarim threat to your home faraway in the north. For now, permission is granted to take your unit of 30 Knights in Silver, to aide against that threat.

    You will find May Celine, a High Priestess of Selune, also operates in the region, with the blessing of the Silverymoon Selunite clergy.
