    Court of Hunger

    Description & Personality

An elfin figure topped with a prim chignon, Agatha trends toward svelte, sophisticate fashions—velvet waistcoats, lace collars, and bishop sleeves. Her red lip contrasts with her pallor and dark, immaculate eyebrows, giving her expressive face a theatrical lift.

Often, Agatha can bewitch mortals with nothing more magical than her dizzying supply of words, but among kindred the effect is much divided. Are her coquettish affectations a disarming act or a symptom of her bloodline? Her mercurial spirit shifts so breathlessly that even her gloomiest fit can seem a jest. Where does the performance end and the genuine Agatha begin? The wise are advised that it’s best not to speculate on the inner lives of A—’s children.

    Background & Reputation

A rare example of a voluntary kindred, Agatha was born to a well-to-do merchant family in Waterdeep. Her quick fingers were never about the gold so much as the thrill. In the course of her roguish adventures, she came to suspect something unnatural about one mysterious patron. The possibility of learning a few magical secrets herself thrilled her, and thus she honed her shadow-stride and her agile mind until she was simply irreplaceable.

Agatha identifies herself as the Court of Hunger’s “chief intelligencer.”It’s rumored that she has a rivalry with the vampire Parnell, but none can say whether this stems from a specific incident or the chafing of similarity.

Since the Red Communion, Agatha openly converses with the coterie’s first victim, Jubal, whom Agatha claims to see.
