And so you remember...
... that Motley Grey is a long-standing criminal operative involved in various schemes, frauds, and illicit ventures against the City of Peltarch. Among her long list of crimes, she has:
- Attempted to assassinate the Golden Geese in Selgaunt, Sembia, and once again more recently through the use of explosives directly in Peltarch;
- Arranged for the escape of Barton Cade from the Golden Geese's private gaol beneath the Witch & Seer;
- Supported the Cleimant Council, during their bid to overthrow Thalaman Fisher, King of Peltarch;
- As recently revealed, provided the Zhentarim invaders with information about Peltarch's defenses during Geroldine's Invasion; and,
- Again, as recently revealed, provided Adan Whisperwick the location and information pertaining to George Longcloak, prior to Longcloak's abduction.
Her current affiliates include an unknown protege Knight in Silver, a former fourth star Cerulean Knight, an ex-Zhentarim soldier, as well as a divine scout of the Gulderhorn Host, each among other exiles and deserters from the various factions involved in Geroldine's War.
She is in possession of some manner of artefact or device capable of disrupting scrying, including the scrying methods that Isolde Garibaldi and Reyhenna Jorino used to try and track her. She has gone undetected for a long time after that. Her plans and intentions were ever opaque and unknown. That is, until now, as the Essi Guard Unit has finally tracked her down with boots-on-the-ground detective work. She is apparently headquartered in an abandoned estate a few miles outside Peltarch, where she has amassed various explosives, as well as a complot with various thieves, criminals, and Zhentarim stragglers. All signs point to her plotting to stage an attack against Peltarch and its current leaders.
Thus, she has been declared a traitor to Peltarch, and King Thalaman requests the Golden Geese put an end to Motley Grey and her latest scheme.

Isolde shall be present and accounted for! Prior to the event, she'll attempt to get in touch with Lain Laurent Dupont, hoping to learn more about what the artefact in Motley Grey's possession might be. She believes its origins lie within the Planes Militant and wants to know whether the device has any other powers than the one previously discovered. She also sends a letter to Maude at Moonreach Keep, politely requesting to speak with her regarding Motley Grey.
